The course introduces bioinformatics and its applications in medical and non-medical fields. The course covers the following topics: biological databases, sequence alignment, molecular phylogenetics, protein structure prediction, and Structural and Functional Genomics. Students will gain practical experience with bioinformatics tools and develop basic skills in the collection and presentation of bioinformatics data.
